Toronto Ream Estate and Toronto stories

Living in Toronto and being involved in the real estate world you see lots of things on your journeys in the city. Toronto is a great city and its very unique mostly because of its size and the diverse population that lives in the city. When compared to other cities in North America you get a much more international flavour in our city. Its something that you just take for granted if you grew up in the city.

The changes in the valuation of property and land in Toronto is changing some neighbourhoods. While people might complain the new condos in Regent Park have greatly improved that neighbourhood. The Regent Park Aquatic Center, https://www.toronto.ca/data/parks/prd/facilities/complex/2012/index.html is a facility that could easily be called world class when you compare it to other pools in large cities. The development of the whole area was part of the driving force to get the building built and redesign the surronding park land. Many people would never have venture into the area even five years ago. The layout of the building and street have obviously helped but the development of new market priced condos has changed the area.

The Alexandra Park - Scadding Court area is next to see the benefit of a mix of market condos and public housing. Currently you would be hard pressed to find someone from out the community who would feel comfortable walking through Alexandra Park in the evening. The City of Toronto has learned many lessons on what works when an area gets redeveloped and hopefully this development of more housing would aid everyone involved in the project.
